Shipping & Delivery Policy

Leung Tim Choppers Factory ships traditional Hong Kong kitchen knives, cleavers and kitchenware from Hong Kong to selected destinations worldwide. Please review the information below regarding processing times, delivery, tracking, customs and international orders.

1. Order Processing

Orders are generally prepared for dispatch within 2–4 business days after purchase.

Once your order has been dispatched, a shipping confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. Tracking information will be included where available.

Processing times may be longer during public holidays, periods of high order volume, or where an item requires additional preparation or packaging.

Processing time is separate from the estimated delivery time shown at checkout.

2. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout where available.

For most international orders using our standard tracked service, estimated transit time is approximately:

International Standard: 7–14 business days after dispatch.

Delivery estimates do not include our 2–4 business day order-processing period.

Actual delivery times may vary due to customs clearance, local postal services, public holidays, weather, transportation disruptions or other circumstances outside our control.

Delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

3. Shipping Destinations

We currently offer online shipping to selected destinations, including:

Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore and South Korea.

Available destinations may change from time to time.

International orders are generally sent using tracked postal or courier services from Hong Kong, including Hongkong Post e-Express+ where available.

The available shipping method and price for your destination will be displayed at checkout.

4. Shipping Rates

Shipping charges are calculated according to factors including the destination and total shipment weight.

For many international destinations, our standard tracked service is available for parcels weighing up to 2 kg.

If your order exceeds the available parcel weight limit, or if no shipping option appears automatically at checkout, please contact us for a custom shipping quote.

5. Tracking

Tracking information will be provided after dispatch for tracked shipments.

Please allow some time after dispatch for the tracking number to become active in the carrier's system.

For international shipments, the parcel may be transferred to the destination country's postal service for final delivery. Tracking updates may therefore appear through more than one postal or courier network.

6. Customs, Duties & International Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, GST/VAT, customs clearance charges, handling fees or other charges imposed by the destination country or region.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Leung Tim Choppers Factory does not control these charges and cannot predict the amount that may be payable.

Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with any import requirements that apply in their destination country.

Additional costs arising from customs inspections, permits, restricted-goods requirements or other destination-specific procedures are the responsibility of the recipient.

7. Knife Import Restrictions

Our knives and cleavers are designed and sold as culinary tools for food preparation.

However, laws relating to the importation, purchase, possession and delivery of knives vary between countries and regions.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the products they order may legally be imported, delivered and possessed in their destination.

Certain knife types or materials may be restricted in some jurisdictions even where ordinary kitchen knives are permitted.

If you are unsure about local requirements, we recommend checking with the relevant customs or government authority before placing your order.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if we reasonably believe that the product cannot legally or safely be shipped to the destination provided.

8. Age Requirements for Knife Purchases

Some countries or regions impose minimum-age requirements on the purchase or delivery of knives.

By purchasing a knife from Leung Tim Choppers Factory, you confirm that you meet any minimum legal age requirements applicable in your location.

Where required by local law or the delivery carrier, parcels containing knives may require proof of age or identification, a signature upon delivery, or delivery to an eligible adult recipient.

Orders may be cancelled where applicable age-verification or delivery requirements cannot be satisfied.

9. Product & Weight Variations

Many Leung Tim products are made using traditional manufacturing methods.

Minor variations may occur between individual products, including differences in blade finish, engraving or markings, wooden handle grain and colour, dimensions, weight and packaging.

These natural production variations are part of the character of our traditional products and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

10. Shipping Addresses

Please ensure that your full name, delivery address, postcode, phone number and contact information are accurate before placing an order.

Customers are responsible for information entered during checkout.

Leung Tim Choppers Factory cannot be responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

If you notice an error after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

11. If Shipping Is Not Available at Checkout

If checkout displays a message indicating that shipping is unavailable, this may mean that the order exceeds the standard shipping weight limit, the destination is not currently enabled for automatic shipping, a product requires a different shipping method, or a custom shipping quote is required.

This does not necessarily mean we cannot ship your order.
